Dr. Kirk Kasuya

Dr. Kasuya graduated from St. George's University in 2016. During his time in veterinary school, Dr. Kasuya organized and participated in multiple volunteer missions to provide basic veterinary care, spay/neuter surgeries, and education about pet and livestock health in Costa Rica. He served as a delegate and represented his school at the Student American Veterinary Association (SAVMA) for two years. He was then elected as Information Technology Officer for the Executive Board of SAVMA from 2014-2016. In 2016, he completed multiple rotations in emergency and small animal medicine at The Ohio State University. He has worked at multiple hospitals in the bay area since graduating to gain more experience to better serve his furry patients.

When Dr. Kasuya is not working, he loves spending time with his gf and their dogs, Jarvis and Archie. He is a bay area native and can sometimes be seen hanging out with his friends in downtown San Jose (come say hi!). He can also speak Japanese and loves to converse it with his clients which helps him maintain his fluency.
