Dr. Marie-Charlotte Popp, a Bay area native, studied abroad at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical education at Tufts, Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in Massachusetts. During this time, she participated in sea turtle and elephant medical research and provided emergency rescue services for the local animal populations.
Following graduation, Dr. Popp completed a small animal internship, with a focus on emergency and critical care at Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment and Specialties in Walpole, Massachusetts.
Her primary interests include surgery, urgent care/emergency care, community medicine, and exotic species.
In her spare time, Dr. Popp enjoys reading, swimming, hiking, scuba diving, and skiing. Dr. Popp loves spending time with her sweet rescue dog Jazmyn, and 3 cats: Mushu, Tortellini, and Berlioz.
